The unstretched finished foot length of these slippers is 7¼ (8, 8¾, 9¼, 10, 10¾)”/ 18.5 (20.5, 22, 23.5, 25.5, 27.5)cm. XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL  sizes stretch to fit women’s US shoe sizes 4-5 (6-7, 8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14) or men’s US shoe sizes 2-3, (4-5, 6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12). Shown in Size M.


Materials:

Polka Dot Sheep Great Northern, Super Bulky Single Ply, 100% Merino wool, 89y/ 81m; 150g/ 5.3 oz. 


2 skeins; 1 of each colour. Sample shown with C1 in Redwood and MC in “Blush.” A pair takes approximately 76 (85, 94, 105, 123, 130)g of C1 and 47 (54, 60, 81, 94, 101)g of MC for 123 (139, 154, 186, 217, 231)g total. 


Tools:

US 11 (8mm) 32”/ 80cm circular or needle size necessary to obtain gauge in length long enough for magic loop technique; 2 differing stitch markers; tapestry needle.


Gauge:

9 sts/14 rnds over 4”/10cm in stockinette in the round, blocked.  


Abbreviations:


C1 – Contrast Colour

CDD (Central double decrease) – Slip 2 stitches together knitwise, k1, then pass slipped stitches over – 2 sts decreased.

CO – Cast on 

Dip St– Insert the working needle into the middle of stitch from front to back, wrap the working yarn around the working needle, pull a loop of yarn through to the front of the work, leave the loop on the working needle – 1 st increased.

– Knit

K2tog – Knit 2 together – 1 st decreased.

Kfb – Knit front and back – 1 st increased.
