Inflammation and Your Diet

Inflammation is associated with the majority of today's diseases and chronic ailments...and diet plays a HUGE role!

Did you know...

...there's a connection between inflammation in the body and the development of diseases, such as acid reflux, arthritis, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, chronic pain, and so much more?

The GOOD news is that much can be done to relieve or reverse today's inflammatory issues.

Your body is always striving to heal!

Many lifestyle factors contribute to chronic inflammation, but DIET is by far the biggest determinant.

This class will demonstrate how a whole food, plant-based diet - complete with delicious versions of burgers, pastas, comfort foods, and desserts - can correct the underlying cause of inflammation and allow your body to heal.

In this class, you'll learn:

  • The difference between acute and chronic inflammation

  • Common contributors to inflammation and the ailments associated with it

  • How inflammation harms the heart

  • The role our immune system plays in the big picture

  • Which foods are pro-inflammatory vs anti-inflammatory (and why)

  • How to read labels to quickly spot inflammatory ingredients

  • What you can do to find relief if you suspect (or know) you're suffering with inflammation

What others are saying

Gut Issues Healed!

If it had not been for Cyd’s guidance, education, and support throughout this journey, I’m not sure that I would be where I am today. I have lost almost half my body weight and now enjoy running 5K races. Before making this lifestyle change, I was on the fast track to a heart attack before I was 30. I had low self-esteem and struggled with digestive problems. All the ailments I struggled with prior to this change is completely gone. Cyd has been a great leader and friend throughout my journey. She has provided me with support as I first ventured on this lifestyle change and continues to be there for me with wisdom or prayer if needed. My hope is many others will be able to hear her message so that they will also be able to take their life back, just as I have had the pleasure of doing so with Cyd by my side.

Autoimmune Skin Disease Dormant!

"The transformation to a whole food, plant-based diet has not only helped me lose weight, it has diminished an autoimmune disorder I have called Hailey and Hailey disease, a rare skin disorder which causes the dermis to blister, become infected, form lesions, and eventually cause a topical yeast infection. Extreme bouts led to serious pain, and the flare-ups lasted for months at a time. I can honestly say that I do not have outbreaks of this disorder anymore. My dermatologist is amazed that my skin autoimmune disease has been dormant. I attribute all of this to the new lifestyle of plant-based eating."

Off All 8 Meds!

I was a dyed-in-the-wool meat eater who was following Atkins. I lost some weight on Atkins and thought I was doing okay. Then one day I noticed my skin turning yellow, plus a had a hard time recovering after work outs and my muscle aches were constant. I discovered I was stressing my liver to the point of failure due to the unused proteins; thus the yellow skin, fatigue, and muscle aches. Before switching to a 100% whole food, plant-based diet, I suffered with high blood pressure, reactive hypoglycemia, acid reflux, plantar fasciitis, heart disease (has stent), arthritis, back issues, digestive problems, high cholesterol, overweight, and a general feeling of poor health. I took eight medications to try to fix it. Nothing worked. Now I'm cured of all of the above. I take no medications, my energy has increased, my pain has way, way lessened. My arthritis has stopped and my general sense of well-being is off the charts. Did I say BAM?...BAM!
