SDXL Creative Starter - ComfyUI Workflow and Guide - AFTERFRAME

A practical starting point for creating AI still images in ComfyUI.

Build an image from a text prompt, then refine it with a second diffusion pass. Four supplied scenes cover interiors, coastal landscapes, ceramic still life and neon environments. The cover shows actual outputs from the included presets.

WHAT YOU NEED

A working ComfyUI installation and the separate Juggernaut XL v9 RunDiffusion Photo v2 checkpoint (approximately 7.1 GB). The workflow uses nine built-in nodes; no custom-node extensions or LoRA are required. Model weights and installers are NOT included.

TESTED SETTINGS

1024 x 1024 base, 1.5x latent enlargement, second sampling pass, 1536 x 1536 final PNG. Tested on an RTX 3090 24 GB with Ubuntu 24.04 in our existing ComfyUI LAB. Canvas import and Run were checked. Other hardware and operating systems have not been benchmarked for this package. Start with batch size 1.

This is a self-guided workflow and guide, not a one-click application, private model or installation service. You need to download the model separately and select its filename in ComfyUI. Outputs vary with prompts, seeds and software. Generative refinement can change details; exact products, lettering or character identity are not guaranteed. The examples depict imagined scenes.

You may adapt the workflow for your own personal and commercial finished projects, including client work, subject to the model's own terms. Do not resell or redistribute this package or its example files as a competing downloadable product.
