Broceliande is a simple headband with a waffle rib pattern. Knitted flat until desired size, it is seamed together at the end to form the knot.

Finished circumference (adjustable): 40 (45, 50)cm / 15¾
(17¾, 19¾)“ - to be worn with 10cm / 4” negative ease.
11 cm – 4 ¼” wide

Yarn: Katia Concept Cotton-Merino (aran-weight; 70% cotton, 30% Merino; 105m / 115yds per 50g ball)
Shade: 138; 1 ball
OR approx 60 (70, 80)m / 66 (77, 88)yds of aran-weight yarn.

Gauge: 21 sts & 22 rows = 10cm / 4” over
waffle rib on 4mm needles, after blocking.

Needles: 4mm / US 6 knitting needles
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 1 locking stitch marker, tapestry needle

Techniques used :
Headband knitted flat until desired length
Cast-on and bind-off edges are then seamed together in a knot (video tutorial included)
Waffle rib texture with slipped stitches

Broceliande est un bandeau simple avec un point texturé gauffré. Tricoté à plat jusqu’à la taille voulue, il est cousu à la fin pour former le nœud.

Laine :
Vous aurez besoin de 60 (70 / 80) mètres de fil Aran.

Le modèle est tricoté avec Katia Concept Cotton Merino (105 m / 100 g) coloris 138.

Aiguilles :
aiguilles 4 mm
ou taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon

Échantillon :
21 m. x 22 rgs sur 10 cm en point gauffré après blocage.
Notez qu’un échantillon différent affectera la taille et le métrage nécessaire.
