Heal Thy Soles by Rachel Russ for Happy Fuzzy Yarn
Chemo treatments left me with painful feet. I designed this sock to ease tender soles, and to knit some therapy for my soul. Sample shown is size Small/Medium. One sock was knit on dpns and one on circular needles. Directions are given for both.
A NOTE ON FIT The sock fit is slouchy on the leg portion.
MATERIALS Yarn Happy Fuzzy Yarn Corrie Sock (75% superwash Corriedale wool/25% nylon; 435 yd per 4oz skein); approx. 265 yds (300 m). Color Shown: Alive
Needle Size 2 circular needles or 1 set double-pointed needles in US #2 / 2.5mm, or size needed to obtain gauge 2 circular needles or 1 set double-pointed needles in US #0 / 2.0mm, or 2 sizes smaller than size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE 36 sts/56 rows = 4”/10cm in reverse St st after blocking
REQUIRED SKILLS basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitch, basic increases and decreases, binding off) knowledge of basic sock construction knitting in the round knitting on double-pointed needles OR knitting in the round on two circulars lace knitting
