Holes In Time is Craig's 2nd Album release of original Christian music and was recorded at Central Sound Studios in Auburndale, Florida, and released in 1979. Craig wrote this as a rock opera and was a companion to the book of the same title, which was published by Acclaimed Book of Dallas Texas.
The Book "Holes In Time - The Autobiography of A Gangster" is the story of Frank Costantino, a professional thief who was converted to Christ in 1969 while serving a twenty-two-year sentence in the Florida Prison System. Craig and Frank worked together in ministry during the late seventies and each song represents major events taken from the book and includes much of the humorous experiences they shared as they traveled the country together ministering in prisons and churches.
The song 'Unique Individual' has a special place in Craigs' heart as his younger brother Bruce passed away from Hodgkins Disease shortly after he and Craig improvised and recorded the jive-talking at the end of the track.
Also, at the end of the first song "What I Have to Do" you will hear three gunshots. Craig borrowed a 357 magnum pistol from the studio office administrator's husband who was a local policeman and had come there to take his wife to lunch. Craig filled a 5-gallon bucket with sand and shot 3 bullets into the bucket. Unfortunately, the bullets went through the sand and embedded themselves in the wood floor of the studio.
