Review Booster: Get More Google Reviews on Autopilot
Most happy customers never leave a review because nobody asks at the right moment. Review Booster asks every customer, every time, politely and automatically.
WHO IT'S FOR
Small local service businesses that live on their reputation: salons and barbers, trades and home services, clinics and dentists, cafés and restaurants, garages, studios, tutors and coaches. It also suits freelancers and agencies who set up automations for clients like these.
WHAT IT DOES
- A finished job arrives by webhook (from your booking system, CRM, Zapier or Make) or as a new row in a Google Sheet
- After a delay you choose, the customer gets a warm, branded "How did we do?" email with five one-tap rating buttons
- 4–5 stars: they go straight to your Google review page
- 1–3 stars: a kind thank-you page invites private feedback through an n8n form, and you get an instant Slack or Telegram alert so you can make it right. A public review link is always shown too, because review gating isn't allowed
- No answer: exactly ONE polite reminder, never more
- De-duplication: each customer is asked only once per period, and the same job is never asked twice
- Every status is logged to Google Sheets: queued, requested, reminded, rated, feedback, failed
- Monday summary email: requests sent, ratings, average score, customers sent to your review page, response rate, and who to follow up with
- Built-in error alerts, and rating links that email security scanners can't trigger
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- A 36-node n8n workflow with sticky-note instructions on the canvas
- A step-by-step setup guide (10 steps, customisation tips, troubleshooting, FAQ)
- A Google Sheet header template, plus a template for the optional sheet trigger
- Sample webhook payloads and previews of the review email and the weekly summary email
REQUIREMENTS
- n8n Cloud or a self-hosted n8n (version 1.x), reachable from the internet
- A Google account (Sheets and Gmail)
- Slack or Telegram for alerts
- Your Google Business Profile review link
Third-party costs (your n8n plan or hosting, and any paid Google, Slack or Telegram plans) are your own. Results depend on your customers and your service; this template makes asking consistent, but it can't guarantee a number of reviews. Please follow each review platform's guidelines: never offer rewards for reviews.
