The Agincourt Hymn was written to celebrate the 1415 Battle of Agincourt. With it's rousing refrain of "Deo Gratias" it gives glory to God for victory. This organ solo using the main theme from this rousing song is one of those flexible pieces with sections that can be omitted or arranged in any order. Useful as a recessional for any celebratory occassion, I would love to see it used as a wedding processional!
