sample of case study Project Planning, Executing, Controlling, and Closure
LJMU - AVI is a firm based in the Republic of Aprus -- a small island nation in Europe with a developed services economy -- that specializes in the building and management of airports internationally. LJMU - AVI plans to produce a proposal responding to a government-issued tender to build a brand new airport at Ariana a country that is highly bureaucratic with a democratic but very fragmented and contentious political system with one major political party that has a focus on ethical governance and another one on Green governance in addition to the traditional parties in the left, right, and center of the political spectrum. Ariana is located in the central part of Asia. As the director of business development for LJMU – AVI, you have been assigned by the managing director of LJMU – AVI the task to author the feasibility study for this potential project. This will be evaluated by the company’s Board of Directors as to its merits toward deciding whether or not to proceed with a full project proposal. This project is viewed as very complex due to the particular characteristics (above mentioned) of the country as, it is the first time that LJMU – AVI considers a tender in a non-developed country and wants to be as safe as possible with its decision to proceed or not. This is why this feasibility study is assigned to you, a senior member of the company’s staff. In your feasibility study ensure that you produce an action plan for all phases of the project (plan, initiate, control, close) with particular focus and consideration toward stakeholder management, ethical management, and sustainability.
