Armley Beanie & Slouch - PDF knitting pattern

The Armley Beanie was one of our 2016 MKAL patterns.

A decorative ribbed band feeds into structured cables, creating a striking visual effect. The pattern contains the instructions for both the beanie and slouchy versions.

Pattern is worked in the round and bottom up, and features 4 sizes.

Yarn

Beanie: 71 (92, 117, 144) yd/65 (85, 107, 132) m
Slouchy: 100 (135, 170, 218) yd/92 (124, 156, 200) m
38yd/35m for a 6x6in/15x15cm swatch in St.St.
DK weight, plied yarn.

Needles & Notions

Set 3.75mm/UK9/US5 DPNs/Circular or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch marker as necessary
Tapestry needle
Cable needle

21 sts x 30 rows to 4in/10cm on 3.75mm needles over St.St.
23 sts x 32 rows to 4in/10cm on 3.75mm needles over 2x2 Twisted Rib, lightly stretched

To fit sizes: 17 (19, 21, 23) in/43.25 (48.25, 53.25, 58.5) cm
Finished size: 14.5 (16.75, 18.75, 20.75) in/36.75 (52.5, 47.5, 52.7) cm
