On His Word is an educational trumpet trio applying the chromatic scale in a musical, ensemble context. This is one of several easy trumpet trio compositions I wrote for the home school trumpet ensemble I hosted when my son was home schooled. Some of those other pieces are also availalbe here on PayHip. 

If you are using On His Word for educational purposes, then I strongly recommend learning the chromatic scale first. When the students have first mastered the chromatic scale, their experience on songs like On His Word are always more rewarding.
