Swingende Unterhaltung mit hohem Anspruch, zumindest was die ersten drei Bässe betrifft. Wie so oft bei Ensemble-Musik werden an den ersten Spieler die größten Anforderungen gestellt, während sie zum zweiten und den folgenden kontinuierlich geringer werden. Somit eignet sich das Stück ideal für Ensembles, deren Spieler unterschiedlich weit entwickelt sind. Aber es ist natürlich auch für vollendete Profis ein musikalischer Spaß.

Swinging entertainment with high standards, at least as far as the first three basses are concerned. As is so often the case with ensemble music, the greatest demands are placed on the first player, while they become progressively less demanding towards the second and subsequent players. This makes the piece ideal for ensembles whose players are at different stages of development. But of course it is also musical fun for accomplished professionals.
