An Even If Kind of Faith Dictionary Art

When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were facing a pretty stark decision--worship a false god or be killed--they knew their answer. They would choose the one true God who could most certainly save them from the king's wicked punishment. But "even if" God decided to let them die as martyrs, they wouldn't choose to bow down to something made by man. In this world, we are constantly tempted to choose man-made things over God's purpose for our lives. If we were alone, we would fail; but God is with us and gives us the kind of faith that chooses him even when we know we might suffer for it. God, give me an "even if" kind of faith!
