LIMITED EDITION! Oh My Figure Top ENGLISH (metric)

The Oh My Figure Top is a Summer 2024 limited edition pattern combining the V-neck modification with the original Oh My Figure pattern top part only. If you already have the original Oh My Figure pattern and you want to make a V-neck top, it's cheaper to get the V-neck add-on. However, if you don't already have the full pattern, you can't make a top from the V-neck add-on only. As I realise getting both the full pattern and the V-neck add-on only to make a top would be quite an investment, I'm offering this pattern for the Top as a limited time offer.

This pattern will only be available for purchase during June and July 2024.

The Oh My Figure Top is worked seamlessly from the top down. The V-neck is made up of four straps that are joined below the armholes. The garment is made-to-measure for a nice tight fit regardless of body type. The lines in the design follow the natural feminine curves to highlight your figure. If you decide to make a dress later, you can continue directly from this pattern to the original Oh My Figure pattern. Get inspired on Instagram using #OhMyFigureTop.

Techniques in the pattern:

Longtail cast-on

Picking up stitches from the cast-on edge

Left and right leaning increases in the bar between two stitches

Purl increase in the bar between two stitches

Left and right leaning decreases

Knitting by charts

What you will need:

Suggested needles are 3,5 mm circular needles minimum 60 cm or the needle size that gets you the right tension

1 beginning of round-marker and 8 stitch markers in two colours, 4 in each colour

Suggested yarn:

1 strand of Line from Sandnes or similar with a meterage of 110m/50g.

Yarn estimates:

(200) 200 (200) 250 (250) 250 (300) 300 (300) 350 (350) 400 grams.

Tension:

Size guide:

Selecting your size: 2x2 rib is very stretchy so it will fit a little looser or tighter unnoticeably, so choose the size closest to your measurements regardless of a positive or negative ease. It adapts +/- 5%, and so this pattern will fit bust measurements within the range of 70-147 cm.
