The piece was born from an unexpected moment on May 14, 2005, in Trujillo, Venezuela. While Maestro Efraín Silva waited at the Hotel La Paz for his friend, the poet Pedro Ruiz, he began to improvise while gazing through a window at the immensity of the Andean moors (páramos). From that wait and that landscape, this nostalgic melody emerged.
It is the only study dedicated to a poet (Pedro Ruiz) and to his student Yesibeth Romero, also bearing a close musical relationship with "Mayrita". It is a must-have choice for both the advanced student and the professional performer wishing to captivate their audience.

La obra nació de un momento inesperado el 14 de mayo de 2005 en Trujillo, Venezuela. Mientras el Maestro Efraín Silva esperaba en el Hotel La Paz a su amigo, el poeta Pedro Ruiz, comenzó a improvisar mirando a través de una ventana la inmensidad de los páramos andinos. De esa espera y aquel paisaje surgió esta nostálgica melodía.
Es el único estudio dedicado a un poeta (Pedro Ruiz) y a su alumna Yesibeth Romero, guardando además una estrecha relación musical con "Mayrita". Es una elección obligada tanto para el estudiante avanzado como para el profesional que desea cautivar a su audiencia.
