There are two (functional) buttons at the cuff that add a little extra detail!

Materials:
4 ply/ fingering or a light dk yarn
3.5mm/ US size 4 straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
3.5mm/ US size 4 dpn or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions:
3 Stitch markers (2 in corresponding colors – to mark thumb gusset)
Spare yarn or holder
Yarn needle
Four ⅓“ (1cm) buttons
Measurements
Scarf: 10”/ 25.4cm x 70”/ 178cm
Mitts: Length: 6½”/ 16.5cm Circumference: 6½”/ 16.5cm
Tension/ Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows = 4” (10.2cm) in lace patterns

Both the Scarf and Mitts are worked using a provisional CO (the desired method is left up to the individual knitter).
The cuff of the Mitts is worked flat on straight needles. For the body of the Mitts the stitches are transferred to dpn and worked in the round.
