My background is in art & design, with a focus on sculpting. To me, knitting is another way of making art. Knitting gives me the opportunity to construct with colour - a bit like sculpting and painting at the same time.

I’m a great procrastinator; my designs can switch from colour work to cables at the drop of a hat; I like playing around with words; I prefer style to fashion; I like to take things slowly.

I mainly design accessories, but sometimes take a notion to to throw in the odd garment - something I’m thinking I may do more of in the near future….unless, of course….I end up with a bout of procrastination.
