6. A man is standing on a very high building launches a ball into skz with an initial speed of 8.0 m/s and at an angle of 50 degrees above the horizontal (x-axis). A coordinate system is setup as shown in the figure with the origin (0,0) at the point where the ball is just launched from the gun. Ignore air resistance in your calculations.
(a) Write down initial velocity and acceleration in both the x- and y- direction.
(b) Calculate the ball’s positions (x,y) at t = 3.0 s after it is launched (assuming ball is still in the sky).
(c) Calculate the ball’s speed at t = 5.0 s after it is launched (assuming ball is still in the sky).
