The easy-to-memorize lace pattern flows from a ribbed cuff and knits up quickly – no cable needle required! Lace instructions are both written and charted. Worked seamlessly in the round from the cuff up.
SIZES - stretches easily to fit hands:
S - 6½ - 7” (16.5 - 18 cm)
M/L - 7½ - 8” (19-20 cm)
All sizes - 7” (18 cm) long
MATERIALS
Approximately 105 yds / 96 m for Size S (110 yds / 100 m for Size M/L) of DK / Worsted weight yarn.
Samples shown are size M/L and are knit in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor, DK, 100% Targhee Wool (color: Klimt); Madelinetosh Tosh DK, 100% Merino Wool (colour: Esoteric); and
Patons Classic Wool Worsted, 100% Wool (colour: Teal).
Note: Sample knit in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor was knit with 1½" / 3.8 cm ribbed cuff instead of 1" / 2.5 cm cuff and used approximately 120 yds / 109 m of yarn.
GAUGE
22 sts / 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking stitch using larger needles
NEEDLES
3.5 mm / US 4 for ribbing and 4 mm / US 6 for main fabric, or size required to obtain gauge,
DPNs or 32” / 80 cm circular for Magic Loop method.
