The complete writing system from the class, ready to drag into a Claude Project. Works on the $20/month Claude plan. No code, no add-ons.

I once sent a newsletter with a blurb my AI made up for a book it had never read. It went to a live list. That is why every fiction project I run with Claude has a fence around it, and this kit is the fence.

This is the exact set of files I build with in the free class, Write a Book with Claude Cowork. Watch the class on YouTube, then drop these 24 files into a Claude Project and you have the system running in about two minutes. No code. No add-ons. No tech setup. It runs on the plain $20/month Claude plan.

What the system does

Four jobs, in order, and the order is the point.

Voice comes first. One file that says who this pen name is on the page: brand promise, POV rules, dialogue rules, tension style, banned names. Claude reads it before anything else, every chat. This is why the output sounds like an author instead of like AI.

The Planner runs five phases and skips none of them: planning, premise, codex, outline, then plot hole check and chapter prompts. No chapter gets drafted until all of that exists as project files.

The Ghostwriter turns one chapter prompt into one chapter of prose, checks the banned list before it hands you anything, and updates a progress tracker and State Ledger after every chapter so the book's memory lives in files, not in a chat that's about to hit its limit.

The Editor runs twelve passes on the finished chapter, including the de-AI sweep and a voice check against the voice file.

What's in the download

Two setup files: the README with the two-minute install, and the Project Instructions text you paste into the Instructions box (this text is the boss of the whole project).

One Voice file, built for the class demo pen name, Rosemary Irving (clean historical western, heat 1 to 2, closed door). It's the model for what your own voice file should look like when it's done.

Eight Planner files: the five-phase planner, premise template, story promise formula, codex template, plot hole check, chapter prompt generator, and the clean-western tropes file and outline prompt.

Nine Ghostwriter files: the drafting skill plus the banned list, the avoiding-AI-tells guide, the craft and logic pass, show-don't-tell, the engagement loop, CPH guardrails, the progress tracker template, and the State Ledger template.

Four Editor files: the editing workflow, the twelve editing passes, structural AI tells, and the arc tracker.

Who this is for

Authors who want to write their own books with Claude as the writer and themselves as the editor, and who are done getting generic AI romance back. It's set up for Rosemary Irving so you can follow the class exactly. To run it for your own book, you swap in your own voice file, your own genre lane (tropes and outline prompt tuned to your word count and pacing), and your own pen name, genre, and heat level in the first paragraph of the instructions box.

What this is not.

It is not your voice file. The kit gives you a finished example so you know what done looks like, and the instructions for building yours. Building the three pieces that make it yours is what my full classes and one-on-ones cover.

Setup

Create a Claude Project, paste the instructions, drag in the 22 numbered files, start a chat, and say "Plan a new Rosemary Irving series." That's the whole build.

Files are the memory. Anything that matters gets saved as a project file, never left in chat. Close the laptop for a month and the house is still standing.
