'Exposed' Poetry Collection 2020

'Exposed' is the first poetry collection I have written as of 2020. It comprises of 5 poems spread across 11 pages titiled: Potential, Weight, Exposed, London and Timeless. The works in the collection centre around the theme of wanting to feel seen while also battling a desire to blend in. The poems are inspired by the confusing time between having left childhood and becoming a fully self supporting adult and it aims to illuminate some of the difficulties faced during this period of uncertainty where people want to make a name for themselves and carve a path in a vary large and often overwhelming world, where it can feel easy to get lost and become one of the many. 'Exposed' is about exposing my own self identity and difficulties on the way to establishing myself as an individual.
