Your Essential Yoga for Chronic Pain & Fatigue Starter Kit
Take three yoga tools especially designed for people with chronic pain and fatigue and make them part of your daily practice.
1. Yoga Nidra MP4A (audio file for your device) - my absolute favourite tool and the one that I use every single day to help me with pain, fatigue, insomnia and more. It is profound rest and the more you do it, the more you will feel the benefits. You can do this as a rest break, after work, before bed or during the night (painsomnia).
2. Gentle Beginners' Yoga for Fibromyalgia (chronic pain and fatigue) class video - just 10 minutes of accessible yoga that can help ease the tension in your muscles. This is a great way to get started practicing yoga.
3. Supported Child's Pose video - my favourite restorative yoga pose (restorative yoga was designed for those who were unwell or injured) and I have adapted this even more for us. Sink in and practice this for as long as feels comfortable. It will help switch on the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest pose).
