Inclusion coaching for educators who are done waiting for the system to change.
I started my career in 2013 as a general education teacher in a full inclusion classroom, co-teaching alongside a special education teacher. That first year changed everything for me. I watched what happened when students with IEPs weren't pulled out, weren't separated, weren't treated as someone else's responsibility — but were actually full members of the classroom community. They learned. They belonged. And the other students learned alongside them in ways no curriculum could manufacture.
I've spent every year since trying to make that the norm instead of the exception.
I'm now a mild/moderate education specialist and case manager at a charter school in California. I deliver IEP services in general education classrooms — not as a compromise or a workaround, but as the core of how I believe special education should work. I sit in the IEP meetings. I co-teach with my colleagues. I navigate the compliance pieces. I do this work every single week.
I started coaching because too many educators have told me the same thing: *I believe in inclusion, but I don't know how to actually do it at my site.* The values are there. The systems aren't.
That's the gap I help educators close.
