The size will depend on the yarn you select and how many rows you make.

Sample measures about 94" or 238 cm from point to point and 20" or 51 cm at its widest (including the scallops)

Notions

Yarn

• MC (main color) - about 100 g of fingering weight or size 2 yarn if you intend to use a companion, or

about 500 meters of DK weight or size 3 yarn in a neutral, pastel color like light gray, off-white, light blue;

• SC (secondary colors) - up to 10 g each of yarn of similar weight as MC in all colors of the rainbow (six or seven) 1 through 6/7 - abbreviated SC1 to SC6 or SC7 - approx. 300-350 meters;

• Optional - companion yarn - about 70 grams of a fluffy mohair or alpaca lace-weight yarn - the same

length as MC and all SC combined;

Hook & other notions

When yarn is held doubled: 5.5-6 mm hook (colored yarn and companion) OR

For single DK strand, 4-4.5 mm hook.

Easy read

The easy read version respects the following requirements:

24 point Arial font; 26 and 28 point and bold for headings.

Black text, white background.

Left justified, 1 inch margins.

No columns.

Page numbers bottom left.

No charts required to make the pattern.
