I don’t believe every EMS student learns the same way.
I’ve spent years working across EMS and teaching students who are smart, capable, and motivated, but still find themselves struggling when the material is presented as nothing more than chapters, slides, and vocabulary to memorize.
My EMS background includes ground EMS, hospital-based EMS, flight medicine, pediatrics, and EMS education. Those experiences taught me that knowing the definition isn’t enough. You have to understand what that information looks like when there is an actual patient in front of you.
That’s why I created First In Study Co.
When I teach, I use visuals, real-world examples, patient presentations, scenarios, and questions to help you connect the dots.
I want you to understand:
What am I seeing?
Why is it happening?
What matters FIRST?
What should I do about it?
Because the goal isn’t simply to pass an exam.
The goal is to become a confident provider who knows how to think when the answer isn’t sitting in front of you.
🚑 Stop memorizing. Start understanding.
