Born This Way Scarf
Please also see the Born This Way Cowl.
The KnitCircus Pride Pack Kits have enough yarn to make this scarf and the Abundance of Pride Cowl.
This scarf uses the Fusion Knitting Technique to create two strands of DNA on each side of the fabric.
Each DNA strand will shown in the main colour on one side of the fabric and the six colours of the rainbow are knit into the other side. You will be using seven colours of yarn but have no ends to weave in!
This pattern is suitable for knitters with experience with cables. A video and picture tutorials are provided for the 1-into-5 stitch that creates the curve at the base of the DNA strands.
Yarn Over New York has kits for this scarf and both the fingering weight and worsted weight version of the cowl.
Thank you for your support of the Trevor Project. $852USD was donated from the introductory sales of the Born This Way Scarf & Cowl.
