20 stitches and 28 rounds/rows in 4 inches of blocked stockinette; 24 stitches and 32 rows in 4 inches of half-twisted stockinette. For the best fit it is very important to knit a good-sized swatch and wash and dry it as you plan to care for your garment

500, (540, 585, 635, 685), {735, 780, 830, 880} yards of fingering-weight yarn. Sample was knit in Dragonfly Fibers Dance Rustic Silk (100% silk) in Silver Fox
US4/3.5mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Waste yarn, stitch holders, or spare needles for holding live stitches
