no space for listening is a (sort of) monograph on the works & practice of bani haykal.

Born and based in Singapore, bani is an artist, musician and poet who considers music as material, and his works revolve around human-machine interfacing and interaction.

In his capacity as a collaborator and a soloist, bani has participated in festivals including MeCA Festival (Japan), Wiener Festwochen (Vienna), Media/Art Kitchen (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Japan), Liquid Architecture and Singapore International Festival of Arts (Singapore) among others.

The monograph includes essays, scripts and images of his works between 2012 - 2019.
