Walk in Philly 3, City Hall, Rittenhouse Sq, Av of the Arts

This walk is a self-guided tour of approximately 2 miles that takes you through arguably the most elegant neighborhoods in the city.

It begins at City Hall, a magnificent building designed as a central point from which four major thoroughfares radiate. The route then passes amidst elegant skyscrapers and in front of the city's most famous sculpture, before reaching a charming, shaded park via small shopping streets. It explores beautiful residential areas and finally ends on the section of Broad Street nicknamed the Avenue of the Arts because of the numerous performance venues located there.

Allow at least 90 minutes if you are simply walking and taking photos; longer if you visit City Hall Tower and a museum and stop along the way to enjoy the small shops, cafes, and restaurants you will encounter, particularly in the first part of this walk.
