Wandering Geese

This bright, breezy flying geese quilt comes together surprisingly quickly. 

The 1/4 yard cuts of fabric allow quick and easy strip piecing of the border and greatly reduce the number of individual patches that need to be cut.  However, if you prefer to use smaller scraps, the pattern offers an option listing the required numbers and sizes of patches required to piece the quilt without strip piecing.

This pattern includes clear step-by-step instructions and over 30 colour diagrams to help you make this 57.5" x 71.5" quilt.

Includes instructions to make flying geese units quickly 4 at a time, and to quickly strip piece the piano key border.

Materials required to make the quilt:

• 25 - 1/4 yard cuts of assorted colours * (suggest 5 shades each of 5 different colours)
• 2 1/8 yard background fabric
• 1/2 yard binding fabric
• 3 1/2 yards backing fabric
• 62" x 76" batting

* Can substitute scraps instead of yardage.
