IMPORTANT SEWING NOTES
- Use walking/Teflon foot for vinyl and clear vinyl
- Stitch length: 3.5–4mm recommended
- Coated needle helps prevent skipped stitches & glue residue
- Strong adhesives may be required for layering (test before use)
- Accuracy is key—small margins matter in this design
MATERIALS YOU’LL NEED
- 1/4 yd (22.5 cm) exterior fabric (vinyl, cork, leather, waterproof canvas)
- 1/4 yd lining fabric (cotton, poplin, quilting cotton)
- 1/4 yd Decovil Light
- 1/4 yd Kraft-Tex (or Decovil Heavy substitute)
- 8" × 4" (20 × 10 cm) foam (or fusible fleece)
- 4" × 2.5" (10 × 6.5 cm) clear vinyl (ID window)
- 7.25" × 4.5" (19 × 11 cm) fusible web (optional but recommended)
ZIPPERS & HARDWARE
- 1× 14.75" (37 cm) #5 zipper tape
- 1× zipper pull (#5)
- 1× metal snap fastener / press stud
