Painting Your Grief
Paint Your Grief
A 6-Month Visual Grief Journey
Sometimes grief is too big, too complicated, or too damn exhausting to put into words.
Paint Your Grief is a guided six-month creative experience designed to give your grief somewhere else to go.
Once a month for six months, you’ll create one painting representing what your grief feels like in that moment. No artistic ability required. No trying to make something beautiful. No pressure to make each month look happier than the last.
Just show up. Feel what’s there. And put it on the canvas.
Inside this 14-page digital workshop, you’ll receive:
• A simple supply list
• Guidance for creating your painting space
• Music suggestions for release, anger, tenderness, memory and quiet
• A grounding ritual before each session
• Six different monthly painting experiences
• Guided reflection prompts after every painting
• Instructions for photographing and documenting your work
• A final six-month reflection to place all six paintings side-by-side and notice what changed—and what didn’t
Your paintings might get brighter. They might get darker. They may become louder, softer, messier, emptier or completely different.
None of it means you’re grieving wrong.
At the end of six months, you’ll have something incredibly personal: a visual record of what your grief looked and felt like as you moved through this season of your life.
Six paintings. Six months. Your story.
