Build a Solar System

Build-a-Solar-System Challenge is an interactive science activity where students construct and explore our solar system across 4 steps. Students drag and drop all 8 planets, the Moon, and the asteroid belt into their correct orbital positions, then click each placed planet to discover its size, temperature, moons, and a fascinating fact. They then collect a Planet Passport by matching key facts to the right planets, complete 5 mission briefings identifying planets from clues, tackle a Fast Facts Showdown, and finish with a knowledge quiz. Through the activity, students build understanding of planet order, rocky planets and gas giants, the asteroid belt, and the key features that make each world unique, working towards earning their astronomer certificate.
