Original lagenlook style inspired dress designed by Australian textile artist Pearl Red Moon.

Wave can be interpreted by the sewist in so many ways....it can be made all in one colour or with various panels picked out in solid colours or prints. The instructions include step by step tutorials for doing 3 types of textile embellishment - applique, reverse applique and sashiko stitching. Wave is a loose fitting shift dress with a round neck and short sleeves. In VIEW 2 and 3 the hemline is irregular, slanting downwards to the right side front. VIEW 1 version has a gusset inset in the left side seam which adds 2 handkerchief points to the irregular hemline feature. The front dress has 6 panels joined with diagonal seams and a wide ruffle slightly offset from the centre front curving around the hem to the right back. The back dress has 2 full length vertical panels joined at the centre back seam.

Can be printed as 50 or 60x A4 pages on a home printer or on 3 or 4x AO sheets at a copy shop.

Includes booklet with 14 pages of detailed and illustrated making instructions.

Instructions give metric and imperial measurements.

All seam allowances are 1cm(3/8") and already included on the pattern pieces.

Depending on the VIEW to be made fabric requirement is from 2.2m(2 1/2 yards) to 3.5m(4 yards) Layouts are illustrated for 115cm(45") and 150cm(60") fabric.

Bust range: 92 - 107 cm, 36 - 42 inches

Maximum Bust measurement of the finished garment is: 114cm, 45 inches

Medium range

Australian: 16, 18, 20

USA: 14, 16, 18

EU/European: 44, 46, 48

Bust range: 107 - 122 cm, 42 - 48 inches

Maximum Bust measurement of the finished garment is: 126cm, 49 1/2 inches
