A Couple of Loopholes

Loopholes is a longline straight dress with cap sleeve or sleeveless options.

The back dress has a centre back seam. The Front has princess seams and a round neckline. If made in knit fabric the neckline and sleeveless armhole are finished with self banding. Made in woven the neckline and sleeveless armhole are finished with either self bias or separately purchased prepared bias tape.

At the waistline, to the left and right, a 3-dimensional “loophole” or tubular shape is constructed within the vertical panels. The feature creates an element of sculptural interest. The loopholes can be formed on the outside of the garment and will resemble tubes rather than being open holes. When the loopholes are constructed inside the garment on the outside they become open round holes large enough to easily pass a hand through.

The lower front skirt below the hipline has fullness which allows the garment swing and movement. The hemline at the back is about 15cm(6”) longer than the front.

May be printed at home on 38x A4 pages or at a copy shop on 2x AO pages (there will be a charge per page for printing). 12 pages of detailed assembly instructions with diagrams, including layouts for 115cm(45") and 150cm(60") fabrics.
