Kylie Inspired by Indian Jewellery

I often look to other cultures to find starting points for designs, but this one makes me giggle because it wasn't until after I'd completed the Kylie Necklace, that I realised I hadn't 'actually' taken inspo from the Indian multi-focal necklace that had caught my eye.

The original of the above photo wasn't that clear or as big  (I've enhanced it and added some other photos I came across), BUT, well - I should've put my readers on! 👓

See them there 'dangles' - the three focals (similar to the ones on Kylie) - two of them dangles are imposters - they're not dangles, they're EARRINGS!

Every day's a school day!😆

Anyhoo, I liked how the 3 'focals' looked on the Indian necklace, and I loved the chain detailing too. I hope ou feel the same.

The gold tone Kylie Necklace, with its 3 FOCALS (!), comprising of pink rose quartz, bicones, abstract flower beads and three stranded 'tassles' of gold tone chain, is not only pretty and unusual, but the pink beads help bring out the necklace's uber feminine side.

Kylie's main chain is 3 strands and, while the centre focal benifits from being able to shift from side to side (in search of light, and to provide interest.) the other two focals are held in place, allowing the necklace to sit around your neck as it was designed to.

This necklace does make a statement,  that's for sure, but this 3 strand chain, 3 focals, 3 types of bead (3 is the magic number!) necklace isn't over the top 'loud'.

If you fancy upping your jewellery game with a statement piece, then Kylie is an excellent introduction. It's different,  it's detailed,  but it's also quite dainty to look at  too

Not too shabby for Necklace design that took its inspo from an Indian Necklace with a pair of earrings hanging from it.

I'm quite taken with the elaborative Indian pieces I came across, so you can expect more, in the not so distance future, till then #keepsparkling
