Sand Pillow

Explore two different modular construction concepts while making the two faces of this pillow. One side features a variation on the classic mitered square, a truly modular knitting concept. On the other side, shift your focus from decreases to increases with a counterpane square that grows from the inside out. Notice how the same yarn looks slightly different, depending on the way you knit it. You decide if you like working one more than the other.
