Being responsible doesn't mean responsibility gets to decide everything.

Some responsibilities are yours. That isn't the question.

The question is what that responsibility actually requires from you.

Does it require your time?

Your attention?

Your hands?

Your presence?

A decision?

Or does it simply require you to make sure it is handled?

Those are different things.

Responsibility doesn’t show up all by itself.

Family. Faith. Relationships. Traditions. Expectations. Culture. Systems. Resources. The environments where we live, lead, serve, and love. All of it can shape how responsibility arrives and what gets attached to it.

Some responsibility really is yours. And some of what has been attached to it may not be.

Sometimes the question is not simply, “Is this mine?” It is, “What is actually mine to do?”

And for those of us who consider God in how we live and lead, there is another question worth asking: “God, what are You actually asking of me here?”

Responsibility Refined™ gives you space to consider the whole picture, the responsibility, what surrounds it, and you, before responsibility automatically makes the decision for you.

The Responsibility Refined™ Framework

DISCERN

Consider what is truly yours before responsibility decides for you.

DECIDE

Decide what this responsibility deserves from you, and what it does not.

STEWARD

Arrange what you have chosen so being responsible does not mean doing everything yourself.

SUSTAIN

Put in place what allows you to continue carrying what is yours without losing yourself in it.

Your Responsibility. Your Decisions. Your Time to Consider Both

We begin with what you are actually carrying.

Before our time together, you'll receive a brief Preparation Reflection to help you identify the responsibilities asking for your attention and choose what you want to bring into the experience.

During our four hours together, we move through:

Discern. Decide. Steward. Sustain.

with your actual responsibilities in front of us.

This isn't a conversation about responsibility in theory. We consider what is happening in your life, leadership, relationships, faith, capacity, circumstances, and the environments surrounding what you carry.

Throughout the experience, you'll capture your considerations and decisions in your Responsibility Refined™ Reflection Journal.

That journal becomes a record of what you discerned, what you decided, how you intend to steward what remains yours, and what will support you sustain those decisions as circumstances change.

This Didn’t Start With Responsibility Refined™.

For more than 20 years, I have created spaces for women to breathe, rest, and hear themselves clearly.

And I know responsibility personally.

I have carried responsibility through family, career, leadership, ministry, service, and simply being someone others know they can depend on.

My faith has been present through all of it, including the times when I’ve had to discern the difference between what I could carry, what others expected me to carry, and what God was actually asking of me.

I know what it is to have something that truly is yours to carry, and still have to decide what it requires from you.

That distinction matters.

Responsibility Refined™ comes from both: what I know from my own life and what more than two decades of creating space for women has shown me.

Here, we consider the woman, the responsibility, and the environment surrounding them both.

Because responsibility does not automatically get the last say.

What I Bring to Our Time Together

I will come prepared to create a thoughtful, intentional space where we consider both the responsibility and you.

I will listen closely to the responsibility you name and to the expectations, relationships, environments, circumstances, and assumptions surrounding it. I will ask thoughtful questions and guide our time through Discern → Decide → Steward → Sustain.

You will not be rushed toward an answer or handed a decision that belongs to you.

I bring more than 20 years of experience creating intentional spaces for women, along with thoughtful questions, structure, attention, and guidance. Your decisions remain yours. My role is to create the space for you to consider them fully.

What Responsibility Refined™ Looks Like in Real Life

Artboard 1

I came to Regina with too many ideas and not enough direction. They all mattered to me, and I was trying to carry them all at once.

Our meetings were productive from the start, and I always left with something meaningful to reflect on. Regina didn’t hand me answers. She asked the questions that made me look honestly at what I was building and why. Her Responsibility Refined™ approach taught me that responsibility isn’t about doing everything. It’s about owning the choices that matter most and following through.

That shift changed how I built my business. Instead of waiting to launch a bigger program, I started with a smaller, manageable pilot of my Becoming Again workshop that I could deliver well.

I left our meetings with a clear path for my Substack newsletter, my workshops, and my upcoming projects, and the confidence to begin.

When I began sharing my business goals with Ms. Regina, she listened, exchanged ideas with me, and encouraged me to pursue opportunities beyond the spaces I already knew, including corporate clients. She also recommended communities that would strengthen my confidence and support my business development.

I was shy about putting myself forward, but I acted on her guidance. I approached a restaurant and a national organization, joined two of the groups she recommended, and secured my first corporate client. Her guidance, accountability, and prayers helped me move from ideas to intentional action with greater confidence.

The questions Regina asked had me thinking differently about the responsibilities I carry.
