Ready Meal Picker — Visual Ready-Meal Choices & Shopping Handover

Choosing dinner can be easier when you can see and hear the options.

Ready Meal Picker gives the person choosing a clear visual menu, while a family member, friend, carer or support worker prepares the options and shopping handover.

Start with a small familiar menu. Use the seven-photo starter, add product references from the included supermarket library, use your own photographs, or add your own meals. The person choosing can hear each meal name and short description, then choose Yes please, Maybe or No thanks.

FOR THE PERSON CHOOSING

• Browse large meal cards with plain-language descriptions.

• Press Listen to hear a meal name and description using a compatible voice installed on the computer.

• Choose Yes, Maybe or No and change the choice later.

• Use pack quantities, or optionally choose dinners for selected days of the week.

FOR THE PERSON HELPING

• Prepare a menu of up to 40 meals and hide options that are not being offered.

• Browse 50 curated single-serve heat-and-eat dinner references: 10 Vegetarian, 10 Chicken, 10 Lasagne/bolognese/pasta, 10 Beef and 10 Try something different.

• Add meals, descriptions, spoken-name help, photographs, product links and optional prices.

• Create a store-grouped shopping list from Yes choices or the selected weekly plan.

• Save a local backup containing the menu, choices and photographs.

• Work through a helper-only availability checklist before handing over the menu.

AVAILABILITY AND SHOPPING

This version does not automatically read local stock or prices, reserve products, create a retailer basket or place an order.

In Menu setup, the helper can open one guided checklist covering every meal offered on the current menu. The app opens each saved official retailer page one at a time. The helper confirms the store or delivery address shown, then records Shown available, Shown unavailable or Couldn't confirm. That saved result is a dated human observation, not live stock or a guarantee.

An internet connection is required to open retailer pages. Prices are optional and entered manually. Check any estimate before ordering.

THE SUPERMARKET LIBRARY

The supplied 50-reference library is a manageable starting collection rather than a complete supermarket catalogue. Five references include separately credited Open Food Facts photographs; the other 45 are clearly marked Photo to add. The separate starter menu contains seven credited photos. Product ranges, recipes, pack sizes and packaging can change, so check the current product page and pack.

There is no subscription, Ready Meal Picker account or cloud service.

BEFORE YOU BUY

• For a Windows desktop or laptop using a current desktop Chrome or Edge browser. Phone, tablet, Mac, Safari and other-browser support is not offered in this version.

• Download and extract the ZIP before opening the included HTML file.

• Information is saved in that browser on that device. There is no cloud sync. Save separate backups; backup files are not encrypted.

• Audio depends on a compatible voice installed on the device and exposed by the browser. Voice choice, pronunciation and sound vary.

• This is a choice and organisation tool. It does not assess nutrition, allergies, swallowing or texture needs, food safety, medical suitability or care compliance. Check the current pack and the person's individual needs.

• It is independent of and not endorsed by Coles, Woolworths, Open Food Facts or the named brands. It does not claim NDIS registration, approval, compliance or funding eligibility.

USE PERMISSION

One purchase covers the purchaser's household or one supported person and the people directly helping that person. Completed choices and shopping lists may be shared within that group. The app itself may not be resold, publicly redistributed, uploaded for others or used as an organisation-wide multi-client copy.
