يضم الكتاب مشاركات نصية وبصرية من نشاطات مختبرنا وورشات عمل حول العشوائيات في دمشق في 2018-2019. يعرض (عشوائيات) مداخلات تصويرية لمشاركين عن البيئة المعمارية والعمرانية لعشوائيات دمشق بما تضمه من الهياكل والتصاميم الداخلية والخارجية, البيئة الطبيعية والمبنية, والعلاقات الاجتماعية. عشوائيات جزء من مشروع بحثي لمختبر IWlab عن السكن والعدالة المكانية في دمشق.

Informality composes textual and visual observations from IWlab's research on Damascus between 2017 and 2019. The book is based on graphic contributions from workshops in Damascus on the architectural and urban environment of the informal settlements in the city. The explorations include constructional and structural solutions in buildings, the dialogue between the natural and built environment, and social and cultural aspects in informal areas. Informality is part of IWlab's research project on housing and environmental justice in Damascus. (Most text is in Arabic)
