When I saw a colorway named “The Haunted Wood” I knew I needed to do a shawl with it! I don’t care for stranded colorwork much, but these slip stitch stripes are so lovely, and you’d never know they weren’t stranded. And anytime I think of anything haunted, my favorite cartoon Scooby Doo comes to mind. So, you get the Meddlesome Shawl – because they would have gotten away with it if not for those meddling kids!

YARN (Fingering): Leading Men Fiber Arts, Show Stopper (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylong; 463 yds [423 m] / 3.5 oz [100 g]): 1 skein each of Avery (MC) and The Haunted Wood (CC)

GAUGE: 22 sts & 28 rows to 4” [10 cm] in blocked texture pattern

NEEDLES: US 6 [4.0 mm]; adjust needle size to achieve gauge 

SIZING: 84” [213.5 cm] wide by 21” [53.5 cm] deep
