The Seventh Seal by Michael E.B. Maher presents an eschatological timeline focusing on the period between the rapture of the Church and Christ’s second coming. Key events occur in a non-chronological sequence due to differences between the spiritual and natural realms.

The book outlines the opening of seven seals: the first four release angels of war, violence, famine, and death, which have been active since Adam. The fifth seal reveals martyrs under God’s altar. The seventh seal, opened before the sixth, initiates God’s wrath through seven trumpets and seven bowls.

The rapture removes the Church before this wrath. The 144,000 Jewish believers remain on the earth, sealed to warn humanity. Trumpet judgments include ecological disasters, demonic locusts, and a 200-million-strong angelic army killing a third of mankind. Bowl judgments pour out painful sores, turn seas and rivers to blood, scorch the sun, and bring darkness upon the Antichrist’s kingdom. The sixth bowl gathers armies to Armageddon, and the sixth seal depicts Christ’s second coming. The book concludes that even after severe plagues, most humans refuse to repent.
