Birthing the New
Birthing the New
Original acrylic on canvas
80 × 80 cm · 1,8 cm deep
Birthing the New is an origin work—made at the moment my practice crossed a threshold and could not return to what it was before. The painting holds a charged stillness: a luminous center breaking open, matter reorganising itself around a new frequency. Blues and night-tones cradle the field; gold ignites it, not as ornament, but as signal—where intention condenses into form.
This work is not illustrative. It is experiential. It carries the sensation of emergence: pressure, release, coherence. The layered surface—built through repeated listening, interruption, and return—records the exact point where intuition overtook method. From here onward, the work speaks with a different authority.
Placed on a wall, Birthing the New acts as an anchor. It does not ask for attention; it establishes presence. Collectors often feel it before they understand it—an unmistakable calm paired with momentum, as if something essential has already begun.
