Calling all Book Lovers

Are you guilty of using a random receipt, torn off triangle of an envelope or some other 'non-stylish', not really fit for purpose way of keeping your page in your current book?

Yeah, me too - until recently, when I crafted myself a 'made for the job' Bookmark.  And that got me to thinking - I can't be the only one who uses the scrap paper method, so I decided to make a few bookmarks to add to my shop.

The Butterfly Bookmark does what it says on the tin!  It 'marks' your book, but I designed it to be ornate so that it also decorates your reading material, for example when it's on your bedside table or your bookshelf.

The result, this gorgeous, contempary wave design, embelished with three dangle charms and, of course, Betty the butterfly.

With bright, silver-toned metal and fabulously faceted (various sized) crystal clear beads, (one of which is encased in a 'cage', your Butterfly Bookmark is not only unique (I only make one of anything!) but totally eye & light catching too!

Where a 'train-ticket' bookmark indicates that you like reading & maybe travel, the Butterfly Bookmark shouts - "Hey everyone! There's a serious, not to mention uber stylish, book lover right here!" (Given that she 'shouts' you might not wanna take Betty to the library!!)
,
Betty the butterfly adds an interesting contrast against the 'white silver' and clear crystals, as all her glorious details are emphasised by an antique silver colour.  To coordinate with Betty I added some antique silver toned spacer beads too.

The wavey 'stem' of this bookmark is the part you place between the pages, Betty and her crystal enterage are designed to hang down the spine of your book. This stem measures 3 inches, and it's hook helps to ensure it doesn't fall out your book.

Obviously, this is a great gift to give to a book and butterfly loving friend or relation, but be warned,  when you see Betty in all her glory, you'll probably want to keep her for yourself!
