Lao Tzu & Thoreau: A Bridge between Cultures

Lao Tzu & Thoreau is a study based on a comparison of the literary and thematic elements in the writings of Lao Tzu and Henry D. Thoreau. The author, Dr. Robson, focuses on specific literary devices and central themes employed by both thinkers. In addition, Dr. Robson makes educational connections throughout the study to show how original literature can be used in the EFL classroom (or in any classroom) as a starting point to building cultural connections among ethnically and culturally diverse student populations.
