Deer & Stag Drawing Templates: 36 Printable Woodland Deer Drawings

Thirty-six deer and stag drawing templates to trace, colour or paint, including four detailed woodland showpiece scenes. Clean, light outlines with open spaces to fill, lovely for slow, absorbing evenings, and just as good for tracing onto cards, gift tags and journal pages.

THE FOUR SHOWPIECE SCENES

Four really detailed drawings that fill the whole page: a stag in a misty forest clearing, a doe and her fawn nose to nose in the snow, a deer family drinking at a woodland stream, and an antler-and-fern wreath tied with a bow.

HOW TO USE

Print at actual size (on US Letter paper, choose "fit to page"). Colour in light layers of pencil or a pale watercolour wash, building up slowly. To trace a page, tape it behind fresh paper on a bright window or a light pad and trace it onto good paper or card with a soft pencil. In Procreate, import a page as a layer, lower its opacity and draw on a new layer above it.

If you've downloaded my free deer outline templates, this is the bigger set: 36 different drawings, not the same pages again.

PERFECT FOR

Relaxing colouring with pencils or watercolour, handmade Christmas and winter cards, gift tags, junk journal and sketchbook pages, practising deer and antlers, and anyone who loves deer, woodland walks and a slow evening at the craft table.

Personal use and small handmade crafts are both welcome. Please don't resell or share the files themselves.
