"Hollow No. 29" — Homoerotic Art Print, Gay Male Nude Gift
“Hollow No. 29” is a hand-drawn, monochromatic A4 art print from the Hollow series — a conceptual queer art piece exploring censorship through the male nude, where a big, hairy, bearded man curls tightly into himself, the hollow cutting through the centre of a body turned completely inward.
Folded. Closed. Still not safe.
A big, hairy, bearded man — knees drawn up, head bowed, body curled as tightly as it will go. As if making himself smaller might make him harder to reach. The hollow is there regardless. It always finds the centre, no matter how carefully the body tries to protect it.
This is the most private posture in the series. And even here, nothing is spared.
Part of the Hollow series — a silent manifesto against censorship, and a meditation on what is lost when art is forced to erase itself.
