Nymphalis {Hat}

From September 7, 2020 to October 31, 2020: 100% of ALL my pattern sales, here and on Ravelry, will be donated to my best friend and chosen family to help them restore their home. A Nymphalis is a type of tortoiseshell butterfly and is one of my favorite types of butterflies! This pattern incorporates a similar stitch style to my Canterlot fingerless gloves pattern, so while the stitch pattern isn’t worked in exactly the same way, this hat is a beautiful and much requested match to the gloves!

Available in multiple sizes to fit children to adults, with written and charted instructions in an easy to follow manner. Included are also instructions for how to easily adjust the pattern in case you have troubles with row gauge.

Yarn weight: DK #3 (11 wpi)
Gauge: 5 stitches and 9 rows = 1 inch in Stockinette stitch in the round.
Needle size: US 4 - 3.5 mm
Yardage: 140 - 170 yards (128 - 155 m)
Sizes available: Fits head sizes 18”, 20”, 22” , 24” circumference.
