The unmistakable screech of swifts is one of the quintessential sounds of summer and this counted cross stitch pattern captures two of them as they scythe through the clear air with their distinctive long, curved wings.

• Size on 16/32 count fabric: 5 x 3.5 inches (12 x 9cm)
• Threads: DMC stranded cotton
• Technique: whole cross stitch and back stitch
