2025 Year of Estonian Lace Symmetry Shawl

2025 brings us that incredibly beautiful Estonian lace. Whether you use lace weight yarn or fingering weight yarn, this shawl will be a beauty! These Estonian lace patterns will turn any yarn into a masterpiece.

Beads and Nupps are optional, though both are included in the pattern. If you use beads only in the pattern and only in those places shown on the pattern (lots of places for additional beads for those who like a lot of sparkle), you will need 977 beads. The pattern is charted only. Yardage differences are due to how many Nupps you include in your shawl because those Nupps love eating yarn. The yardage is between 1,375 and 1500 yards.

This shawl will be a year-long project with a new clue arriving on the 15th of most months beginning on January 15, 2025. On purchase, you will receive the supply list so you can gather your yarn and needles and be ready to begin when that first clue drops. There will be at least one and possibly two 'catch up' months because these clues are longer than those in previous years and we want this to be a stress-free project.
